Kevin L. Kilgore, Ph.D.: Dr. Kilgore is a Program Manager in the Department of Orthopaedics, MetroHealth Medical Center; an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Case Western Reserve University; Biomedical Engineer for the Research Department, Louis Stokes VA Medical Center and Clinical Instructor, Department of Orthopaedics, Case Western Reserve University. He is an Associate Director in the Cleveland Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) Center and Director of Concepts and Innovation for the VA Advanced Platform Technology (APT) Center. Dr. Kilgore also has over 20 years of experience with upper extremity neuroprosthetic systems.
Niloy Bhadra, M.D., Ph.D. Dr. Bhadra was an Orthopaedic Surgeon for many years before pursuing a career in Biomedical Engineering. He was awarded his Ph.D. based on his work in high-frequency nerve block from Case Western Reserve University in 2005. Dr. Bhadra is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Case Western Reserve University and a Principal Investigator in the Cleveland Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) Center. Dr. Bhadra has over 14 years of experience with various aspects of functional electrical stimulation research including basic research and applied research resulting in the implementation of FES systems in both the upper and lower limbs in human subjects. Dr. Bhadra has 8 grants over the past 10 years, including funding from NINDS, NIBIB, VA Rehab Research and Development Service, FDA Orphan Products Division.
